What is the Sidchrome Lifetime Guarantee?

All Sidchrome products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials and will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

This guarantee does not cover modified, abused, neglected or excessively worn product as a result of improper use or fair wear & tear.

 • For certain items that are defective but repairable, it may only be necessary to replace a particular part Where this is applicable only the required part will be replaced free of charge.

 • The following is a list of those items which are repairable: ratchets, flexbars, torque wrenches & air tools.

 • For ratchets where fair wear and tear has occurred, the  only options are to have it repaired or for the customer to purchase a new product.

 • Any product subject to a guarantee claim, must be returned to the place of purchase. Upon acceptance of the claim, the product will be replaced or repaired free of charge.

 • Reliance is placed on the product knowledge and judgement of Stanley® distributors and representatives to approve the replacement of defective product should it occur.

 • This Guarantee is offered in addition to all statutory rights conferred on the consumer. It is also a term of the contract, that to the full extent permitted by the law: the liability of Stanley® Australia for any breach of a condition or guarantee implied by law is limited to replacement of the product.

 • Sidchrome® warrants air tools to the original retail purchaser that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to repair or replace, Sidchrome's option, any defective product within 2 years of the date of purchase. This warranty is not transferable. It only covers damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship, and it does not cover conditions or malfunctions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, accident or repairs attempted or made by other than our regional repair centre or authorised warranty service centre. Vanes, gaskets and o-rings are considered normally wearing parts.

If you have a warranty item, simply take it to your nearest Sidchrome stockist (find them in the "where to buy" section of this site), and once they have confirmed that the fault is genuine, they will act on Sidchrome's behalf and arrange a replacement or repair of the goods.
